Organization
The Nordic Association for Fire retardant treated wood is a non-profit organization registered in Sweden with an assigned organization identification number. The association was formed in 2011 when the current constitution was adopted. It replaced the previous association Fireproof Wood, which was established in 2007.
The association's highest decision-making body is the annual general meeting where the board and it's members are appointed.

Assosciation Members
Two different categories of members can be identified:
Producers, suppliers and retailers
Users (architects, builders, fire consultants, etc.)
Membership can be obtained by a natural person or legal entity in support of the organization's objectives.
The association is funded through membership fees.
